It's out already as of today. Check your installed app version. The Play Store listed version is sometimes behind

I have 0.34 installed from the Play Store, been up for a while now

You won't see new posts on Beehaw communities from other instances where Beehaw has defederated from. So lemmy.world users won't see new posts or comments on Beehaw communities, nor will Beehaw users see anything new from their communities.

Think of defederating like turning off post/comment syncing between instances.

Reddit is crashing because of the growing subreddit blackout in c/technology@beehaw.org

If it was caused by so many subs going private, that means we have the power to take down Reddit as we please
