Well, looks like the Dissident IRA just got a new friend

Yeah so the League of Communists don't have decent successor parties. Some former Yugoslav states don't even have proper ML parties, most of the direct successor parties are socdem and have been since the collapse. I would guess Tito probably was kept around more untouched, as a legacy and recruiting tactic. So he could've been more left than the party but that doesn't mean much of anything if he is not pressure within the party.
Joska Tito, grandson of the Marshal himself, passed away weeks ago. I had no clue https://balkaninsight.com/2025/06/04/grandson-of-yugoslav-leader-tito-dies-in-serbia/
Yeah I was so confused. Honestly really dislike the fake alternate name shit. It just makes it hard to search for comments, and can be confusing to read. Plus I get that the joke is that Chihuahuas are small but aggressive dogs, but like, that is literally the name of a state verbatim, so maybe not the best way to insult a fascist country by comparing it to a Mexican polity even if unintentionally.
Very sad news. He was always so happy to engage with fans. One of the guys EVERYONE talks about needing to meet at conventions, always made time for people, just loved being around the fanbase.
it is funny, the table tennis reddit was mostly people saying "fuck Trump", with confused folks saying "how do you think Trump started enforcing awful embargoes on Cuba?"
I was just looking at an image of this statue the other day when reading on the Great Syrian Revolt. Fuck these monsters
And some of these are vets. The second guy who got killed, Corey was identified via his tattoo. NSFL photos linked in the comments on the video. he was a US vet
I hope they on the down low merge with Scargill's "Socialist Labour Party" cause it has like 300 members, but just legacy wise I want Scargill in on this somehow
The second to last clip is crazy. The one guy just walking out of cover to go all rambo only to get gunned down.
If you have to say it is unquestioned, it is not unquestioned
It will never cease to amaze me how Yugoslavia's communism was taken without a fight. No August Coup, no '94 elections, no attempts to put down treason like in the Baltics and Armenia, no mass protests specifically for communism. It is like they didn't give up, the communists just didn't exist by the point of collapse beginning.
I know that is not exactly true, Stambolic was sort of an exception, but it feels that way
