I agree for the vast majority of the slop they put out but some wonderful stuff still manages to get made. Check out Scavengers Reign if you haven't seen it.

I'm more of a sci-fi guy but I listened to Joe Abercrombies The First Law trilogy as audio books and holy shit was it great. Ended up devouring the 3 standalone books and the following Age of Madness trilogy that plays out in the same world. Very dark stuff and I believe fits within the requested "soft magic" setting.

Yeah it seems like it will be a great game and best wishes to the Dev but it's like giving an award to a demo. Why don't we just give all the awards to Star Citizen then since they have promised us it will be the best everything once it releases.
