Idea: if you mod a community on a lemmy.somewhere you should be able to migrate it to lemmy.elsewhere which would include all post & comment links being forwarded and subbed users having their subscription updated to reflect the new location.

I'm aware this would be a way down the road as user account migration alone is still not great but it would be a great feature for the fediverse to have to avoid centralisation and mod/server admin wars.

It's easy to see why DeSantis would be a better version of Trump. He has more personal integrity and he is less of a blowhard. He actually gets things done instead of just talking big.

Probably doesn't matter much. If you don't have a definite fixed opinion on Trump at this point, you are probably comatose and won't be voting.

Do you have any idea of when 18.1 might be released?

Same here. I would like an answer to that question as well.

I think one thing he is trying to communicate to Republican primary voters is that Trump cannot possible win the general election in 2024, so it is time to move on.

His niece, a clinical psychologist. wrote a book claiming that he is a narcissist. I think her diagnosis is correct.

I edited the post to reference a similar tweet that links to the same or similar video of DeSantis' speech.

“"The Left is lighting the fire of a cultural revolution all across this land. The fire smolders in our schools. It smolders in corporate boardrooms. It smolders in the halls of government. ...I will lead the effort to extinguish the fire of cultural Marxism." @RonDeSantis

“DeSantis was mobbed by supporters as he left the Faith and Freedom conference. I asked him if he would support Trump if Trump wins the GOP nomination, but DeSantis didn’t answer. Fans who got photos with him are now hugging and high-fiving each other.”
