True, but it's certainly good for morale. Hopefully they treat it as a warning. I personally have no grievances against my local and state governments or authorities (within reason), so violence would need to be carefully organized with the goal in mind.

The train is already being ran, staffed, and maintained. The only difference is the cost of applying brakes as this stop and then restarting the engine. So you should be comparing having all passengers buy a vehicle instead of just this one student, or only the cost of stopping the train at this station.

I don't really understand scaling tips past a certain point. The service is generally the same whether it was a $1000 steak or a $20 steak. Unless it goes directly to the chef. Everything else is already compensated by the cost of the meal.
