Microsoft uses this script themselves.

Are there any functional alternatives to Lidarr that function similarly? (Integration with the *arr stack, integration with download clients. I doubt there's another that would integrate with something like Jellyseerr or Ombi, but that would be a huge perk.)

That was partially our plan as well - rotate across streaming services - but the convenience of not having to do that definitely overtook that plan in under a year.

Yarr.

It has an effect on downloading because it at least one end has to have port forwarding exposed. A seeder without port forwarding can connect to you if you have port forwarding enabled. If neither side has their port exposed, no connection can be made.

Hero. Thank you.

I'm afraid to ask, but what is HR in this context?

I was just thinking of shutting down my container this past week, so that settles it. Maybe I'll try rreading-glasses to see if it's any better.

I think this fits the definition of pirating as presented in the OP.

It's actually not bad. All the setup is the same except the IPs, so you can just add/change those. They're replicated across 5 ports per server, so that's a little annoying, but it's still just easy copy paste.

Works fine if you've got Proton VPN set up as a gateway at your router.

Is there somewhere to go to get audio dramas? Specifically looking for things on Pocket FM, such as My Vampire System.

Under Settings > Import List > Advanced List, there's an option to provide a List URL for a Custom List. What format would that need to be in?

ffmpeg help (self.piracy)

I have some files that have multiple audio tracks and several subtitle tracks, all of which are marked default. I'd like to remove the default from all the subtitle tracks and all-but-one of the audio tracks (and possibly move the audio track to be the first track). How would I do that?

Is there any way to separate the UI from the actual torrenting?

Selective subtitles? (self.jellyfin)

Is it possible to have subtitles come on only in parts of a show/movie that aren't in the base language? Like you'd expect if you were watching a movie in a theater or a show on TV.

So, I have qBittorrent running in a container on a machine in my network. That machine heads out through an OpenVPN gateway on my pfSense firewall connected to Proton VPN.

My Proton VPN client username includes +pmp. I copied the info out of an ovpn configuration for a set of servers that had the double arrow to indicate it supports P2P traffic. I have a paid account.

I have qBittorent listening on a random port (say 6666). The container exposes port 6666 over the default bridge network.

I have a port forward rule set up on the NAT Port Forward page that maps any source IP/Port coming in on the VPN interface over TCP/UDP to the VPN address on port 6666 to the host machine IP on 6666.

I have a rule on both the VPN and LAN interfaces allowing IPv4 TCP/UDP traffic from any source to the host machine over port 6666. (I'd like to have that locked down by gateway, but I opened it up on the LAN interface in trying to get this to work, same reason I have UDP enabled as well).

There is no traffic and no connections through either rule. I'm obviously missing something basic, but I have no idea what. Any ideas?

EDIT: I made these changes in the Advanced settings:

  • Enabled "Reannounce to all trackers when IP or port changed"
  • Set the VPN IP in "IP address reported to trackers (requires restart)"

I then restarted the container. Doesn't seem to have made a difference, though.

I just bought a season of an anime from the Microsoft store, but it looks like the only way to download or view it is with an Xbox or on a recent version of Windows. Does anyone know how to get it directly?

Downloading from other sources is an option I already know; I'm just wondering if there's a way to get it from my paid version.
