Hey, that gives me an idea. Bonsai weed, small enough to run its full lifecycle within the confines of a PC case.
letsgo
Muslims hated us first though and some of them (that currently live here) want to destroy our civilisation in favour of their barbaric medieval religion, and their continuing growth causes me some concern about when there are enough of them around, and someone has started a sharia party, and all the imams go "you must all now vote for sharia" how many of them will follow that decree (and how many non-muslim useful idiots will too).
Not enough concern for me to start hating or discriminating against them on an individual basis, but everyone's different and some are further down that road than I am.
And yet those weaker countries (a) want to get into the EU and (b) don't want to leave it. Absolutely nobody is forced to be controlled by France and Germany.
The Euro also brought some positive benefits for its citizens, no longer having to pay bank charges all the time for conversions between francs, lira, marks and so on. Which arguable was the original point, rather than some kind of imperialism.
Well on that basis you lot should change your official language to Chinese, because there are 5x as many of them as you and you buy all your crap from there.
That's not stuff we're not ready to hear though; we all know that.
Unfortunately I hit a screen preventing me from seeing the article unless I signed in.
In a sense yes, because that's the point where you get insta-fired, even where there are sensible employment contracts because violence is one of the things that can get you promptly marched off the premises.
Gun control works.
And OK maybe it doesn't solve the problem 100%, but it solves it 99%, and that's a lot of schoolkids that aren't dead any more. Look at any first world country for working examples; I'm in the UK, and yes we still have some gun violence, but it's a whole load less than it would have otherwise been.
And it's incredibly short sighted to reject any solution that doesn't solve a problem 100%. Partial solutions are good.
There's nothing to stop companies having a proprietary connector as well as USB-C. When something better comes along, and everyone can see and agree it's better, the rule can be updated.
