Try Nitter/Squawker? I rarely visit the big sites directly anymore. Quite a few OSS web and mobile clients available
For Reddit there is Stealth which scrapes old.reddit, since reddit canned thirdparty apps

The default browser at my work is Firefox lol, only our testing team and a few others use Chrome. It's a pretty welcome change ๐
I find it a little funny when we get Chrome-specific bug reports though
