I was really into their albums Simple Math and Mean Everything to Nothing for a while.

Then they released Cope and it's companion album Hope which were cool because Cope was their normal sound and Hope was the same songs but acoustic.

I don't think I've listened to them since then so I have some catching up to do!

I finally got around to listening to this and I definitely agree! Thanks for posting!

I love the positive vibes and the slight silliness of a lot of their songs

Oh my. That's something.

And now I'm reminded of this Amnesia Scanner album art

Don't apologize lol it's a fun song! I saw these guys live in like 2013. It was a fun show.

Also their cover of Daft Punks Get Lucky for Like a Version is really good

Their basslines are always so cool. And those strings in this song!

I also really love this album art despite the very off-putting mouth

Really cool album. Definitely wasn't what I expected when I first heard them

Kevin Morby is one of my favorite singer-songwriters.

Some of his lyrics were inspired by a photograph he found of his dad after a health scare.

Here's an interesting article about it

Not yet! I have that one saved so I don't forget

I liked this more than I expected to. I think because I was expecting more of a pop sound but it's actually more vapory than pop if that makes any sense.

Yeah I thought the whole thing was good. The song Daffodil stood out to me most. I dig that sort of experimentation
