IIRC there was a study where people with strong opinions talked to an Al and the process changed their minds.

I don't care for Horror, so in turn it is the perfect medium for going to sleep.

Kino really has a sense of wonder and exploration that's hard to find. Made in Abyss also that kind of vibe but for all the wrong reasons, it's seriously fucked up.

If you're looking for something that won't traumatize, Dennou Coil is pretty good. I also liked Haibane renmei.

Totally!

My kindle with the entire Expanse series of novels is my go-to solution for doom scrolling. I keep it handy around the dining room table, and I want to set a good example for the kiddo. Works pretty well since I can stay in the family conversation, absorb words, and put it down in an instant.

If you like paper, tons of bookmarks are a good thing to.

Is there a list of Libraries I can register online with if I don't necessarily live near them? Would like to expand my reach in libby.

Nemesis Games (Expanse Series) had bicycles. Not the strongest book in the series but Amos and Peaches learned how well bikes worked when the shit hit the fans. Very thoughtful authors.

I'm currently deciding if I want to make a mamba build, do some Frontline to unlock an engineer, or join the latest gold rush (Don't need the money, but had huge fun back when AXI discord was very active/social with 16+ people in an instance)
