Finished up Yoshi's Island. Fantastic game and shows off how far ahead Nintendo was back then. My biggest complaint is that near the end there were way too many autoscrollers and maze levels. in c/[email protected]

@[email protected] thanks for the recommendation! I haven't gotten into any sort of romhacks for the SNES but I really need to. So many games, so little time

Finished up Yoshi's Island. Fantastic game and shows off how far ahead Nintendo was back then. My biggest complaint is that near the end there were way too many autoscrollers and maze levels. Autoscrollers can be fine but maze levels are always the worst part of any Super Mario game

Overall not as good as Super Mario World (the GOAT), but I'd put it in the same tier as Super Mario Wonder. If you have any interest in platformers it's definitely worth playing even if you're not into #RetroGaming
