I used to watch some of their videos maybe a year or more ago? They were a bit more low key and the video title matched what they were talking about.

The last few videos I watched I turned off a few minutes in. It just seemed like they all had a basic script and the stories they were reporting weren't really stories.

The Cybertruck is the epitome of America hubris.

Maybe also has something to do with the uptick of banning left leaning people talking about the damage Trump and Musk are doing? There have been a TON of people here saying their 10+ year old accounts have been banned.

I don't think anything Rober does is out of virtue.

I heard the US and Canada haven't even had a phone call yet. This is the way. Just ignore the orange idiot.

If he throws a tariff, don't bother talking to them. Just respond with a like tariff to red states and move on with life. Talking doesn't do anything with Trump and he's a fucking liar and will go back on previous deals anyway. There is no point in a discussion.

When the US attacks Australia, the ICBM are going over the pole.

I personally don't have the time in my life right now to go to the US, not have the correct paperwork depending on the mood of someone in charge, and ending up in a detention camp in Arizona for two weeks.

I seem to be lacking in Soma and orgies.

Ah crap. That means I'm an Epsilon.

I had assumed Mark Rober was a sponsored member of the alt-right intellectual dark web.

He is.

Maybe it was downvoted because of Mormon weirdo Mark Rober and not the content itself?

I hope they grow Gros Michel bananas. These were the bananas that everyone ate until the crops were wiped out in the 50s by fungus. Artificial banana flavours always has more flavour and a richer taste than the common Cavendish banana. This flavour is mimicking the Gros Michel.

I've never had one, but they are still grown today but never in numbers for global export.

This is the definition of leopards eating faces.

I've been reading a lot of comments lately about people getting banned for really mundane things. Some as much as upvoting a comment.

My 11 year old reddit account got banned. I still don't know exactly what I said but I believe it was for talking about the US invading Canada and how we Canadians would fight back.

I think the funniest thing was getting banned from r/politics for posting two lines from the lyrics of Kidnap the Sandy Claws - a song from a kids movie Nightmare Before Christmas. A KIDS MOVIE!

"Kidnap the Sandy Claws, throw him in a box. Bury him for ninety years, then see if he talks"

I don't even remember the context of posting it, but it was about Santa Claus. You know, a fictional character.

Pathetic.

..some of the Ukrainian batteries that operate the country’s 40 or so wheeled HIMARS rocket launchers, each of which lobs a six-pack of 660-pound precision-guided rockets as far as 57 miles, are no longer getting coordinates for the most distant Russian targets, 40 miles away or farther.

“America cut a key intel link for alerts at 2pm Kyiv [time],” The Economist’s Oliver Carroll wrote Wednesday. “Before that: targeting data for HIMARS. Ukraine also isn’t receiving realtime information for long-range strikes.”

The US/Canada Trade War

“We know that these drugs traveled all the way from Mexico, over the United States’ southern border, and then made their way here to Canada where we stopped and seized them,” said Toronto Police Chief Myron Demkiw at a press conference Tuesday, Jan. 21.
