Open alternatives exist, and in multiple cases are not strictly worse than Adobe products, but for artists who have integrated Adobe products deeply into their workflow switching is difficult. It'll take too much time to learn the new tool and port the workflow to it, time that may not be available.

After the revolution we will install proper bureaucracy doggirl-smug

Wanna make a strudel or two, dunno how apples will do in the baking process though (I have never eaten them like this and am a bit afraid), maybe will look for non-apple variants

Oh, I don't have an oven yet throws the idea on the pile of adhd-born ideas

Cameras can have different settings from our eyes, plus people usually have two eyes at a distance from each other, while a camera only has one sensor.

The most risky part will be getting proper estradiol powder, but it probably won't be too bad.

You can follow a recipe for making gel, do know that carbomer can be frustrating to work with, you'll need to learn how to handle it.

You can also forgo the gel-making things and leave it as a liquid.

You press it with a little bit of force (just to have the finger not slip away) and then move in some direction, the cursor will follow. Usability ranges from "fun gimmick" to "I have heavy gloves, the nipple is my only mouse input"

Older models are sturdy (IBM ones are very robust but are also too old), probably better with replacement parts availability.

Two-battery models, like X230-X270 models (and others) can have a lot of battery power put into them. Mine has 72Wh external + 24Wh internal, and I can hotswap the external one, so if I want to I can buy a second 72Wh battery to style on everyone else.

Generally good Linux support, but do look specifically how well whatever you are buying is supported.

edit: the models I mentioned don't seem to have magnesium alloy chassis, so while they might look like a close range weapon, you probably shouldn't use them that way.

OnePlus 6/6T has great support (which means that it is missing camera and USB power output functionality and is more unstable than desired), isn't locked down too much (you need to backup some partitions and you can go ham after that), and is powerful (it is a 2018 flagship phone with Snapdragon 845) - it is currently one of the best options for mobile Linux. It has good enough support to even boot Windows.

There is postmarketOS support for op6, yes, but I am firmly a NixOS cultist. Plus there's a one-year-old blogpost on this topic.

Right now I am trying to make some nixos boot on it, which I can use as an installer.

The first link for "Trump porn ban" is NPR's "the dems are using porn ads to convince Trump voters to stay home"

Not exactly an effective strategy when it is revealed to the target audience like that

I am currently re-researching ADHD management (for gods know what time already) after wasting the entirety of the past two days.

Wherever I go, I only see people talking about medication. How good it is, how to approach it, what to expect from it, how it was impossible before meds, how to treat them, etc.

I cannot obtain meds. Stimulants are illegal in my country. Strattera isn't, but I am afraid that I will not be able to pursue diagnosis for reasons I am not going to share here. Please do not tell me how good meds are - there is nothing I can do to have them.

I tried organising my thoughts, having a schedule, and so on (org mode in emacs), but I have forgotten about it, every single time I tried it. I have set up a periodic notification to remind me of it, I quickly started ignoring that.

What can I do to make it better? How can I make sure that I will not just forget to do the things that make it better? How can I make sure that I will not outright ignore the things that help me?

Here's the post that made me research everything I could about IEMs for the next several days.

I ended up getting Truthear Hexa - they are said to perform exceptionally well for their price, even accounting for their date of release (IEMs are improving sound quality to price ratio every year). The only two things that I was somewhat wary of are that their nozzle that goes into the ear is bigger than usual and that people were describing them as "boring" and "somewhat lacking bass" (which is not actually a problem when equalizers exist and the user does not use iphones).

After getting the ears somewhat acclimated to wearing IEMs I tried different random tracks. Turns out that the tuning was perfect for me - similar to what I set on over-ear headphones, even (which are bluetooth headsets with ANC, and so have pretty usual tuning). Of course I could hear small details that went unnoticed before, Hexas are great at that.

Then I put on a track that extensively utilised sub-bass. Hexas do NOT lack sub-bass. They also render it good. I both hear and feel the music as it reverberates through my head. I feel the texture. To lesser degree it extends to regular bass, too, and it does not dominate the rest of the frequencies, nor does it lack.

I legit have changed what music I listen to because of this.

The only complaint is about stock eartips. Silicone ones hurt the ears, so I used foam, then got Dunu S&S. Now I almost don't feel that the IEMs are inserted, and they don't break the seal when moving the muscles, it's pure bliss.

Now play a fifteen hour game where all gameplay is QTEs.

(how did this initiative not appear here already)

The students of Russian State University for the Humanities, joined by students of other universities, CPRF members (both regular people and deputies), historians and more, are agitating for renaming the Ivan Ilyin Higher Political School on the basis of Ilyin being a fascist.

Ilyin has been promoted as a "great Russian philosopher" by the state media, and is being defended by that same media, and Dugin, a well-known person with similar views and the director of the Ilyin School.

The poster is taken from the initiative's Telegram channel, it reads "Comrades, a replacement! [we] Will not give Ilyich in exchange for Ilyin!"

Update all of your Linux systems NOW.

Learned about hexbear when lemmygrad had a post about upcoming federation. I enjoy Touhou and Len'en music and games and I like to tinker with my computer setup (maybe I will turn it into a homelab). I really need to read more, but I would certainly enjoy being in a friendly space.

Sorry if my English isn't good, I don't usually write it.
