Meh. Space spending is never bad.

This is 'the ends justifies the means' line of thinking. Very unethical. But it can also be very cathartic.
How are you going to make those tax payments, maintenance costs, transportation costs, etc. You think your social security will be enough to cover? Or is the plan "sell the house"?

Good bagels aren't actually common. You want them from a good place, and you want them fresh. The kind you get that have been baked and sitting out for hours aren't going to be as good. The kind you buy from grocery stores absolutely don't cut it.
