Fair point if you have a high speed connection. But if your system overheats during decompression, the fault lies with your shitty technical skills instead of the repack. Clean your rig, man.

The compression was already explained - I would add that if you're not deep into scene groups, popular repackers are in general a safe choice, i.e. no malware included. Of course it's never 100% safe, but in my opinion safer than picking from a list of torrents what could be the scene release.
I never had issues with fitgirl and Dodi, maybe other users can drop some more names that have proven to be reliable over a long time.
In Germany and Spain and I suspect in the whole eu you have to show your id when you buy a sim and they register it to you.
More like monetization phase. As seen with Netflix and Co.
While it is a good quote and true to some extent, it oversimplifies the situation of the population of Germany during the Nazi regime. It was not indifference that kept people who disagreed with Hitler quiet, it was terror. The Gestapo and SS were the most important factors that allowed Hitler to keep the population in check.
Ask yourself, would you speak up against Nazis in a mostly democratic country we live in today? Without doubt I assume. Would you speak up if it means that the next day uniformed men come knocking at your door and you and your entire family disappears, like it happened to the Schmids 2 Houses down the road?
The main threat is military -like groups who have the authority to quiet dissidents and spread fear.

Protip: when you're done, doesn't matter sitting or standing, push on your taint. It often helps clear the plumbing and prevents dripping. Was a life changer when I found that trick.
American toilets use a different mechanism, a siphon sucks the water out while in Europe we just dump water into it and hope it flushes. Water usage is the same as far as I know.
Seems fair, you pay 1000 for the logo and 600 for the hardware.
