When I had a gallstone induced pancreatitis they tried to tell me this is what I had. Luckly they still ran some blood work and got me scheduled for emergency surgery.
It was pretty annoying having the doctor trying to blame my severe pain on cannabis use though :/
Waking up this morning to find slrpnk back up was a special treat. A big thank you to everyone who helped make it happen behind the scenes :)
I also had more experience with them while on an account that federated with hexbear. There were definite pros and cons to having them show up in my feed. They're a very active community and had lots of posts and comments. Definetly some good memes and fun conversations. There are also some very toxic views that get supported and given alot of attention.
I think for me personally I am fine either way. I dont think hexbear is all bad, but there are some definite bad parts. I can understand why the decision to defederate was made.

It's sooo terrible. I updated my phone not realizing it was going to be such a big change & it kind of ruined my day.
I'd love to go with a different OS, but nothing has stylus support for writing and note taking :/

Someone posted a story about this bathhouse's new mirrors (they don't fog up). A commenter posted that the picture is creepy & when I thought about it i realized that they likely thought it was creepy because it's a liminal space, so I decided to post the picture here lol
I thought it might be a window, but it was so dark I wasn't sure. Still very liminal.
& i think maybe it might be creepier to someone who has been in those spaces before? Often people who find liminal spaces creepy it's because they're used to them in a different context than the photo. So usually the bathhouse would have people and it would probably be light outside, which isn't the case here.

Not the person you asked, but I'm guessing it's because it feels oddly empty and strange (notice how the back wall is a mirror that feels like a wrong and overly dark window, and the seats are odd). Essentially its a liminal space, which many people find unsettling.
Edited to add: plus the steam in the room causes the light to seem strange and overly diffuse

Any chance someone knows anything about it? It was found in the Great Lakes area. It's about palm sized, found near a tree by the playground. I returned it to an out of the way place where kids wouldn't mess it it.

Was the citation for having it up too long in the spring? You could add some bunny ears and a basket to make it spring acceptable. Or some hearts for valentines day.
There's one in my neighborhood that's up year round & they have tons of outfits for him. My favorite is his 4th of July outfit.
