(for context i'm saudi) i get more depressed the longer this genocide continues. Fuck the royal family, western stooges killing their own people and arabs in gaza/yemen, all for money. And the people here just virtue signal about caring about yemenis/palestinians, yet refuse to boycott or even criticize the government even in private. Revolution can't come soon enough jfc. I don't think there's any other way, but the people are so reactionary and brainwashed that it'll never happen anytime soon.

Oh and fuck France too. For self-explanatory reasons.

Heyo, i created a community a couple of days ago specifically dedicated to reviving dead (unmoderated and inactive) communities. I realized that a lot of great communities i like are actually unmoderated, and i obviously can't mod them all; so why not create an archive of all of them?

At courtesy of @[email protected] (thank you!), an archive of unmoderated communities has been created, including just recently adopted communities.

I'd like to compile a megalist of all these communities, and eventually categorize them later on. Feel free to create a post on any of these communities that you are interested in.

PS: Should we just paste the wiki here, or keep it on a separate page?

I would not like to mod this community but i will open this thread for all who are interested.

It's been inactive (modlog n all mods) for a year.

I'd say it only needs 1-2 mods, since it's quite low maintenance. I'd assume there wouldn't be a lot of traction for such a small niche.

To all that are interested, start organizing with each other down below on taking the community.

This community is for discussion of dead communities and the planning of reviving them.

What should a post/comment look like?

A post ideally would be mentioning that community, what value it could contribute to the fediverse, how much dedication it would take and approximately how many mods there should be, and a call for volunteers.

A comment should be a suggestion, correction or volunteering.
