It's great to have this place to stay motivated! I had my first try a few years back and quickly gave up. Hope I will stick around a bit here :)
I find it most difficult to remember any vocabulary as there's literally no clues from other languages. Any tips?
Is there a difference in pronounciation between the use cases? Like especially what you mention in 2, 3 and 4 compared to 1 (the example). If not, this could be quite confusing

That's great to hear! I got back into ice skating too this year. I forgot about the joy it brings and how much I loved this as a kid, lots of good memories skating on the lakes.
I'll get some rollerskates once temperatures allow for it as a summer alternative.
Nooo not the sewing scissors!! This is almost painful to read. I don't even let others use mine, not even to cut fabric.
Love the way you wrote about it all, can relate so much even though my experience is probably more affected by the autism part than my adhd.
Sometimes I miss being that old me, but I gained so much more I would never ever want to miss again.
For my part, there's joy again living life even though the everyday can still be a struggle. But it's less coping, you just manage.
Then, being mirrored as much by a kid is a great learning experience to better understand yourself and your own family, which I am very thankful for. And there now are some moments of living that 'old' self again with the extra bonus of being able to share and teach some of the niche interests to someone you love dearly, which is kind of healing
