It won't be just opt-in for very long.

So why employ the extremely expensive staff that do those steps for years when they have nothing to do and you just burn money for now output?
Because in an industry as specialized as semiconductors, most of those "expensive staff" are people with 12 to 25 years of industry experience and company specific institutional knowledge.
Once they're gone, it's impossible to replace that knowledge. New hires will never know the same details and tricks, and the old staff are unlikely to come back after being screwed (except for insanely high compensation.) In specialized industries you have to retain the knowledge base through thin times to have any hope of being successful in thick times.
Its a shortsighted move by bean counters looking to make it to the next quarter so they can merge or sell off, and nothing more.
Oh no, anyone trying to promote non-christian ideologies will 100% get instacanned under this order I'm sure
Don't forget nonexistent environmental laws that allow for chemical plants to operate with "better margins"
Its going to ruin most states around it too, Wyoming is a massive net electricity exporter, due to cheap coal and wind resources. A majority of what they produce is transmitted to neighboring states, as far as Oregon and Washington.
Guarantee the second an employee tries to use this rule for Islam/buddhism/Hinduism or anything that's not white right-wing christianity is going to be immediately fired
Next up on the "about to become illegal" train....
the type shi you see in WCCFtech comment sections
That was Lucy...
I already do that, semi-frequently, but it can be a pain to get right for parts that require really accurate geometric stability (e.g I've been printing some engine components out of PA6-CF these days, had to redesign a few to fit on the build plate).
PLA has a shelf life, it does degrade a little especially if in a room that had sunlight. Over 3-4 years old it may not ever be usable.
You may need a very long dry time (multiple days) due to the spool likely being wet completely throughout.
As I mentioned on the last post
