afaik gain control sysfs is not a part of vanilla linux kernel. so you may need to port some patch from elementalx kernel, rather than just simply enable some kernel config

where did you moved to? i tried matrix but their android client (element) is terrible compare to telegram's.

have you tried edit /system/vendor/etc/mixer_paths.xml file ? it may include volume and gain config

maybe you can try rclone . it support saf and streaming. so probably is what you want

im already using archlinux arm on my phone for some years. there is really nothing i need to degoogle at now. the only google product im using is gmail (3rd part client) and play games (run in waydroid).

you can you this as a reference https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Localization/Simplified_Chinese#Chinese_characters_displayed_as_variant_(Japanese)_glyphs . although it is for chinese, but you can take the font config of it and reorder it (put Noto Sans CJK JP at first)

yes you can. but not for recent released tablets. you can find more on devices page of pmos wiki

android tablet have many way to run a linux user land . but most of them are still using downstream android kernel. which means you wont get any 3d acceleration in your "linux" environment. so i would suggest you some sbc based tablet or some chromebook (then install linux on it manually)
