For sure. Lots of older lore and names. Especially unhelpful things

You could also random or as requested use older rules for the same spell name. I.e. the fireball does volume now like from AD&D

If you want to be really meta have him reference spells from older editions that don't exist anymore. Especially as suggestions that they won't even work for. The other interesting idea is have him be an expert on things so old but know nothing about recent events.

I have done a few different ideas depending on how long the campaign is. For one shots and short ones I have the players describe what they look like or what adventures they did before getting to the location. Or in a similar vein explain to whatever powers brought them there why they are worth. They then are dropped in a location with a clear objective or specific clues and riddles to solve.

For longer more open campaigns I introduce important NPCs. One they were a recruiting session for the first sailing excursion and met their captain when monsters attacked. The other it was their first big job for their company and we're betrayed by the person who hired them to introduce them to the rivals. For both I want to set tone, location and important NPCs.

I read this great opening that I want to try. A twist on a classic:

"You all meet on a tavern. This is all your first time here but you didn't expect to be on a burning building being chased by the town guards and an angry ogre. You aren't all sure what happens but you know that drinking was involved. What do you do next?"

I think it's easy to miss out on vegetables especially if they aren't cooked correctly

I loved when Al Franken was my senator. He was a sacrifice to main the high road against some shithead right-wing pedophile whose name I forgot. There's been so many since

Don't you know that spells just do what they are called. The rest of the description can be ignored and just base it off what you think "suggestion" means. So you suggest that the king gives you the kingdom and he does.

Lemmy is great since all the NSFW is in 1 instance. Easy to manage

Number 2 is the hottest though for sure

For sure. Its just if there was a few orange hints the vinyl will be orange. Besides I think the rest of her vinyl have done other colors already

I knew the vinyl was going to be orange. Can't wait to get it

I have Ostrich fern on the front of my house that I have been waiting years to try. I keep missing the window when they are ready so I was overjoyed when I saw my fiddlehead popping up. I chopped 9, steamed with in a pan with a little butter for 5 minutes. I plated them with just a sprinkle of flaky salt and had them for lunch today.

They were great and tasted a little like asparagus but with a more savory, earthly flavor. They were amazing and totally worth the wait. I might check tomorrow to see if I can sustainability grab a few more to have them again.

10/10 would forage again.

I am looking to purchase a crochet case from Muud for my wife's birthday. I have been looking at their website and my local yarn / craft store to find one but I am having the hardest time. I have found the Bea case but they say its for knitting needles but they have it under their crochet section. Does anyone know if this will work?

Davis Moturi lay awake in bed last October, eyes on the ceiling, unable to shake the burning image of his neighbor pointing a gun directly at him through the bedroom window.

Vue Lee spent $133 less on his electric bill this February than he did in February 2024.

The savings mean a lot to Lee. He lives in Brooklyn Park and has what he calls a “typical Asian family,” with an adult daughter and grandchildren also living under his roof. The extra money can go to groceries or family fun.

“I can spend more on the grandkids,” Lee said.
