What's going on here?
- Kayra is a young night hag, just learning her craft. She lives with Singing Cricket, a retried adventurer she calls her "husband".
- Kayra was taken away from her parents as a toddler and replaced with a changeling.
- That changeling is living its own life as Kayra.
- Tamilda was a 12-year-old orphan who Singing Cricket's party rescued from goblins on their adventures. And because she was weirdly competent (incredibly lucky dice rolls), they brought her with them on more adventures than they probably should have.
- When Tamilda first encountered Kayra, she was trying to kill her. It didn't quite work out as planned.
- After having very little luck looking for female companionship, Tamilda has with some reluctance finally decided to try being friends with Kayra.
- Now they're basically besties.
- They're all heading into the city, where everyone's paths will probably converge
Love and Hex started out as a joke about my D&D campaign and turned into an ongoing rom-com/horror story. It's on Webtoon, GlobalComix and other platforms.
