A Chrome extension titled “Hide YouTube Shorts,” used by 100,000 people, was recently discovered to secretly collect users' browser activity, raising serious concerns about user privacy on Google Chrome Web Store.

Does Hot Ones count as a game show?

But what about the Factorio DLC on Monday?

You know there's something a little cruel about being a satisfactory fan and a factorio fan at the same time...

Yes, in the main picture. However all the gameplay photos from Subnautica 2 are in the first person perspective.

Thanks for your comment, I gave it 2 episodes and stopped. I'll give it another go.

I actually really enjoyed the studio task. Teams needed to get their number of legs from 21 to 22. So when one team immediately received one extra leg, they were done. It was refreshing to have a team pick up on the rules so quickly.

TL;DR

  • Added NVIDIA Blur Filter and Background Blur.
  • Added preview scrollbars.
  • Added v210 format support for AJA device capture.
  • Added Amazon IVS service integration
  • Added QSV AV1 Screen Content Coding
  • Enabled first-party YouTube Chat features.

Can we close it before he steps back?

Hi all! I have been using Emby for about a year now, but I was wondering, after the recent botnet debacle with Emby, if I should switch my media provider.

Anyone have experience with all 3? I really only have experience with Emby.

Some things that I'm interested in:

  • Automatic file management is a plus
  • Multiple users on mobile devices
  • Roku apps

I've been looking for a couple of books to read this summer to change up my practice. I'd love some recommendations.

Here's a few that I recommend from previous summers:

Here's what I'm reading so far this summer:

I have a few birds near my house that I hear almost daily and I would love to learn more about. But obviously Googling a call is difficult. Any tips or ideas for identifying the calls? I'm in the Pacific NW of the US if that helps.

c/teaching is a community for teachers to share ideas about pedagogy.

Is anyone using apps for Lemmy and can make some recommendations? (Sorry if this isn't the right community for this post)

I really like digital labs they're no mess and it's really easy for students to make them up when they're absent.

Here's a few places that I get mine:

  • whscience.org - I especially like the Bug in the Meadow lab. Since I started using it, I haven't had to clean up bits of paper off my carpet. I also really like his Pedigree Tree Diagram Maker
  • PhET - Great simulations for students to try things out without blowing things up.

What are some other great ones?
