It’s massively wasteful and corrupt spending, is what it is.

If we took this combined ~80mil and thoughtfully spent it on affordable housing, we could quite possibly eliminate homelessness in the US. This would have a profound impact on people’s perceived quality of life in this country, as well as put in motion economic gains from the ground up. It could have been a massive W across the board, aka good leadership and responsible stewardship.

lmao dems had 4 years to do something, anything at all.

They waited over 2 years to begin court proceedings, ensuring there was plenty of room for Trump to delay and evade justice.

Dems will not save us bud, sadly they’re just not interested. They’ll gladly tell you what you want to hear and collect your $28 though.

Bro look at the flyers the cops totally found in this dude’s vehicle. Completely legit, not planted by the police flyers. Yup.

Blame white liberals. They're the ones who didn't show up

100%.

As a fellow leftist who also held my nose and voted for the anointed Kamala, these tired attacks on the left with our “incredibly massive amount of political sway” are getting quite old.

Whatever happens, can’t let democrats democratically elect their candidate. No, the candidate shall be anointed!

Obama was specifically referring to having no desire to prosecute W, Cheney, Rumsfeld, and Wolfowitz for their egregious war crimes and lying to the American people to begin a war for plundering oil in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Given OP’s context of subverting justice for the sake of moving on, I find it extremely relevant.

We don’t look backwards, but look forward. -Obama

This total lack of accountability is precisely how we got here. Those in power should be held to a higher standard, not be given a free pass for corruption.

I think another major reason for Israel to stoke this conflict is that it benefits Netanyahu politically. Without an active war he would be out of office and likely being prosecuted for his many crimes. So long as he can keep Israel embroiled in conflict, he can stay in power.

Iran has a right to defend itself from its terrorist neighbor.

They literally said this was their strategy back in the 80s when they saw the writing on the wall for their incredibly unpopular platform. The platform is now worse, but repugnantcons never talk about it. Just inflammatory racism and divisiveness, the media gobbles it up and gives them free press and sanewashing, and we get dragged deeper into an authoritarian redneck regime as a result. It’s honestly horrifying.
