I think you want a skeleton. /etc/skel

If you want to copy settings for Firefox and other applications, copy (parts of) your .config in there. When you create a new user it uses the skel directory as a template.

You can look up steam game Linux compatibility on protonDB.

For non-steam games you can look up their compatibility with Linux on Lutris

The main issue with gaming on Linux is large, mostly competitive, multiplayer games. Certain anti cheats will not work.

OnePlus phones have the system cloner. You can use a different finger print and/or pin to enter a different system with it's own apps and users.
