It seems like it would need very direct rules in the code to just defer to a human tech in the event of not "knowing" the answer.
That would require a wholly different technology with some ability to interpret the things it's saying and assess their validity. It's a lot more cost efficient to have your AI spew bullshit and do damage control afterwards.
I started pirating games a little while ago and sometimes I'll just browse things to download by looking at screenshots and I get the feeling there's a real cottage industry of softcore porn with gameplay features tacked on. I'm guessing that just sells a lot better than softcore porn without gameplay features, but I do wonder if this starts as someone making softcore porn and then deciding they could sell it as a game or as someone aspiring to make a game and then they fully lean into it once a character with a big chest gets the game more attention.
