I was doing the "why grandpa, what do you mean by "those people" thing to bait them into some self-reflection, but I'm not sure it would have made a difference anyway.

sudo-rs supports less functionality than sudo. Some of this is by design.
i.e. not 1:1 replacement.
My use cases probably won't be affected, but this will break things for some people.
