As true as this is, I will always down vote copypasta.

but it doesn’t work perfectly, xeyes through XWayland only follows your cursor if it’s hovering another XWayland window

which makes it a fun way to see which apps use XWayland tho!

i use Heroic Games Launcher, and while the experience isn’t as seamless as steam (or GOG Galaxy on windows), it works pretty well!

it does the 3 things I need most from a game launcher well: install games, manage games, play games

its not dystopian, just a shit product

im here with my silly, un-epic Normal Mattress™ that doesn’t have any temp control. it is somewhat cold right now, and I don’t feel that’s dystopian

this reminds me of the Hippocratic License, which comes with a bunch of modules restricting the use of software based on ethical considerations (for example, there’s a module forbidding the use by police, and another one forbidding the use by any institution on the BDS list)

i think the FSF, in their eternal and unchallengeable wisdom (/s), also declared that it wasn’t foss

right now they list most of their other services on the homepage of Blåhaj Tube:

blahaj.zone (Sharkey)
lemmy.blahaj.zone (Lemmy)
chat.blahaj.zone (Matrix)
pix.blahaj.zone (Pixelfed)

not listed there is their Piefed instance, piefed.blahaj.zone, and of course their PeerTube instance which is where the list is

you’re thinking too small

1000$/year baybeee!

or rather, they’ll find the perfect balance of profitability, between how many people can afford it VS how much they’d pay for it

the poors will die but that is a sacrifice they are enthusiastic to make

and someone who makes good memes, they would certainly be an icon!

we should give them a name that reflects that… LOLicon perhaps? an icon of the LOL!

embarrassing confessionfor way too long i genuinely thought that’s what "lolicon" meant… ;-;

tbh a 20$ game isn’t any less capitalist

this is probably a bug due to my world being created in 1.16, but this terrain being generated in 1.21. i used an ocean explorer map to find the monument, and that map was also created in 1.16.

A Minecraft screenshot of a player holding an ocean explorer map. It is barely explored, however we can see that there is a big blue square surrounding the monument, and that the outline of the unexplored terrain does not match the outline of the explored terrain.

even the map doesn't line up! i'm guessing it follows what the terrain would've looked like in 1.16?
