I wish blocking worked better, you can still see when blocked users have replied. And blocked users can still see and comment on your posts all the same, doesn't feel nice.

Without naming names, I've got in arguments with some users who will just keep coming back and posting more replies after you stop responding. Sometimes for days, in one case, weeks.
I also think there's some value in actively signalling that the conversation was actually really sucky and you hated it. Helps steer people in nicer directions, I'd argue.
Firefox has honestly been a better PDF reader than the inventors of the PDF for about a decade now.
Adobe PDF reader is the peak of bloatware and really shouldn't be installed anywhere anymore. Last I saw, it was like 400MB of software to read-only open a file type? Could be gigs if they have AI shit in it now too.
My assumption, and I'm sure I'll be corrected if not. Is that she's saying specific opinions and soundbites aren't as relevant as actions.
If a person's actions are actively building a better world for minorities (eg gommunism), then I'd argue you're fairly justified in working with them as a comrade, despite any stupid wrong beliefs about minorities they may have. The focus on material issues is about building a better world, without first necessitating everyone has 100% correct beliefs.
If you don't oblige the requirements of your contract, whether in the USA or Europe, your employer has a legal right to sue you for consequent damages of your immediate resignation.
Not likely to get sued realistically, though. The real penalty is that the employer could give you a poor reference, which absolutely will lose you jobs.
If you want a conversation to stop, especially with a user who's constantly replying or following you. You can respond with "Disengage.", and the user is obliged to stop posting at you about whatever it is. The post has to be a simple 'disengage', rather than trying to get the last word in with "you stink and here's five reasons why also disengage".
