+1 for Pop_OS. They also have a version with Nvidia driver support out of the box. Their UI is also a fantastic edited version of GNOME, so it's sleek and easy to use

for whatever reason, i've been having issues using Piped where videos just don't buffer at all. Anyone else facing this? NewPipe on my phone works perfectly though

anyone know why gyms can afford to be so sketchy with their cancellation process? it borderline sounds illegal, but since so many do this i can't help but wonder why there isn't any regulation around this sort of practice

i didn't phrase it too well; what i meant was that nvidia doesn't support linux as much as AMD seems to.

wow, the balls of the folk who came up with this 🤡

i run dual-boot on my PC, these days i'm only switching over to windows for gaming since ~~nvidia GPUs don't get a lot of support on the linux side~~ nvidia doesn't go out of there way to support linux as much as AMD does

Just an average day I guess? They might be used to it at this point but I'd be curious to see if cancer rates are rising in Beijing and if there is any data pointing towards smog as a direct cause

For a few years it seemed like every tech bro and their mother was moving into Austin

Oh this one's been on my radar! Glad to see it's out of early access.

SF6 runs like a charm on the steam deck so I figured it would run fine on my desktop with Pop_OS. It doesn't seem to launch at all, nothing happens when I click the launch button.

For reference I have an NVIDIA 3060 and I do have the latest driver installed. I did try it with Proton Experimental and 8. Steam also downloaded a package called Sniper Runtime or something similar.

Any tips or advice would be appreciated, thanks!

I'm finally upgrading to a 1 TB SSD and i'm not sure what to do with the ol' HDD. some say they convert theirs into an external drive which sounds easy enough, but are there other potential projects?

I've been using Brave for the past three or so years but I do know that Linux/privacy enthusiasts tend to swear by Firefox. Wanted to get people's thoughts on this topic to see if I should be making a potential switch. Thanks!

Another Smashing Pumpkins record reissue. This one has 5 LPs and costs a whopping $110... probably only for hardcore fans

Has anyone tried this pedal? Color me intrigued

happy july 4th
