Found out this past summer a new coworker fresh from school was making close to my salary (I have 10 years of experience). Short of it I got a promotion and salary increase out of it, wouldn't have been able to expedite it if I hadn't had that talk with the new coworker!

You can try one of those portable routers that can connect to the Internet via WiFi or cable and configure it with VPN to your house. The work laptop won't know any better !

What a fucking disgrace this country is! We pay taxes so we get these pigs to work for us, commiting CRIMES that any other person would get in jail for (unless you are rich... because of course..) and then as if it wasn't enough we get to pay millions of dollars on settlements for all the fucking disgraceful things they do, while they get vacations and a slap in the wrist. I think USA would be better off without police for real, there are cities in other countries run by gangs that run better than this bs.
Fckng tip society, today I went to a coffee shop where I had to make a line order my food, get a number and just wait on the table for the food to be brought over. I was prompted to leave a tip at the moment of paying at the register.
My order came out completely wrong just 2 items. Iced coffee and plain croissant became hot coffee and a sandwich..... and I was supposed to leave tip because of the great service I was going to get?? F that.
There are still places where bandwidth is a bottleneck, even on internal network is essential to optimize for bandwidth
