I just assembled a VERY similar looking one with different materials a couple weeks ago. Mine had a plywood and denim facade around the steel frame, and two dozen 2x4s to support the mattress. I think it was around $200 from a local furniture store. Im guessing they imported it. Lol

Honestly, just because I could, and once I had done it, I just liked the way it looked, so I've kept it. That, and I remember it being a pain to change in One UI. I don't remember how I did it, and the process is probably different by now anyways, so I'd have to look it up, and I'm not about to do all that again.

This is my first time seeing another person using monospace font for social media in the wild. I've changed my phone's system font to Fira Code to make almost everything monospace.

Until 2023, it was federally illegal to possess any illegal drugs along with a firearm, and drug users were barred from buying firearms.

Missed opportunity for a Baraka-cade. Barakade?

Like any priest was going to turn in a member of his congregation for child abuse in the first place. They'd probably recite "the lord forgives" or "turn the other cheek" and let it go on.

It's almost never actually a good business decision in the long-term to lose an employee, unless that employee is actually causing losses. All the layoffs of the past 50ish years from corporate downsizing is thanks to the business philosophy of Jack Welch. When you stop paying a large group of people, it looks good in the next quarterly meeting because you can point at the money you're saving. The bad part is that now the business A) has lost that productivity, and B) will likely need to spend more money hiring a replacement worker who won't be as competent.

To actually answer your question, Wurm Online is an MMO based on player governance of a medeival-like world, with terraforming and construction as a focus. Basically one big medeival role play Minecraft server. It's a bunch of fun though, if you can find the time to literally build a village from the ground up in your free time.

Side columns like that should be illegal. I was driving my stepdad's '21 Silverado 1500 crew cab a few weeks ago and was totally blown away when I almost pulled out in front of someone coming from the right in a big ass truck.

I don't get how these people even feel comfortable driving something where you can't see the road that's in front of you for 10+ meters out. I just wouldn't feel safe, there could be any kind of obstruction you can't see on the road from 10m away but will still fuck up your day and/or life.

The Republican party is fully aware at this point that low voter turnout only helps their guy. The fact that they're allowed to do this, especially this late into the election year, is just absolute tyranny. They will always sabotage their own base to increase their power.

Update from Tom's Guide:

As of 5:50 PM Pacific the Xbox Status page was updated to say All Clear.

If any lemmings play this game and want to help out in coops, I'll be creating them throughout the day today as public coops, and probably as they come out later on as private ones if enough people join.

I just heard this song for the first time today on Spotify, and I figured some other folks at midwest.social might like it as well as I did.
