When you say manually, you mean you just issued "wine [install file].exe" right?
Lots of websites seem to be doing it these days. The worst I've seen is CNN, which has over 40 per page.

Oof yeah I feel that. After my last phone broke I finally was able to get a Google Pixel at a good price and then put GrapheneOS on it. No more spyware
