Je bosse là-dedans (une startup de vérification des preuves cryptographiques de données privées) ! C'est effectivement viable... mais actuellement ce n'est pas dans la réglementation française ou européenne.

Ce doc est une recommandation et on attend avec impatience que les règlements autour du KYC (know your customer) l'autorisent : aujourd'hui, ils exigent que Pornhub (dans ce cas) fournisse l'information en cas de contrôle, donc sache qui est la personne concernée. Or, les preuves comme discutées ici sont intéressantes justement parce que Pornhub n'aurait aucune info à part "fandesexe69 a plus de 18 ans", ce qui n'est pas re-verifiable plus tard en audit. C'est super pour la vie privée et pour arrêter de stocker des infos sensibles, mais ça pose un problème d'accountability et aujourd'hui c'est là qu'est le blocage.

Quand la réglementation évoluera (et on l'espère fort dans mon secteur, heh), ça pourrait changer beaucoup de choses ! Et ce rapport est un tres très bon signal.

1. It's not like they can play in 90% of the Asian countries to be fair
2. I believe lots of countries "in the middle" choose their continent. I know it's the case for Russia and Turkey at least. Depending on the sports they'll go be small fish in a big pond to improve or get paid more (UEFA typically is more interesting than other football leagues) or big fishes in a small pond, where they can get nice placements and, where relevant, qualify for the Olympics more easily.
