It more precisely indicates that the product is made by a corporate entity where the top level company is European. The product can still be made by a US subsidiary, or be made from 100% US ingredients, and still get the star.

If you really love cooking with a wok, you can buy specialized induction stoves. There's absolutely no reason to poison yourself with gas.

The Russian regime would be more than happy to have their propaganda outlets branded "news". But it's not. And since it's not a source of news, there's no reason for Ground News to include it.

Besides which, RT has been sanctioned in the response to the Russian full scale invasion of Ukraine. This makes it difficult to maintain a business relationship, which linking might very well be.

The supposedly russian bad guys are mostly not actually russian. Mostly they are some variety of native Germanic speaking actors. If the casting department is going for authenticity, it may be someone speaking the wrong branch of Slavic.
