I don't know how you got it in your head that under a Harris regime there would be 'less genocide', but maybe if you pulled your head out of your ass you might realize how fucking stupid you sound. Genocide is genocide. There's no such thing as a kinder, gentler genocide.

The Kingdom of Loathing

I can't believe that game is still around lol. It was probably 2009 or so when I logged in last. I had ascended 3 times and figured I had pretty much seen all there is to see. So cool to see they are still around and doing well. I guess I'm going to have to playthrough it at least one more time :)

Fahrenheit/ Indigo Prophecy, an early David Cage/ Quantic Dream game from the same people who made Heavy Rain, Beyond: Two Souls, and Detroit: Become Human

I haven't played it in forever so I'm not sure how well it holds up (if at all) and I also have a love/hate relationship with it.

It has one of the single worst/ cheap levels of any game I have ever played*, and in the very last level the story really shits the bed. On the other hand it was doing things at the time that I still haven't seen in other games. (I haven't gotten around to playing his other games so he might be doing similar things in them). In terms of attempting to evolve the way stories are told in games it was truly groundbreaking and unique for its time.

I still have fond memories of playing it despite it's flaws. I'd say it's worth playing for anyone interested in a older game that does some really interesting things from a story telling perspective and/or people who are fans of the later games and are curious to see where it started. As long as you can make it through the QTE level with your sanity intact and are prepared for the story to get stupid right at the end- it's worth a playthrough imo

*Even though I hate the level, the concept behind it is actually pretty cool. A malevolent force tries to kill the player character by throwing his apartment at him. The problem is it's a 4 1/2 minute QTE sequence that requires precise timing and you can't mess up even one time or you have to start the entire thing over from the beginning. You also have plenty of time to wonder why the force never varies it's strategy of throwing one object at a time. Good idea, terrible execution.

Good Job Klaus, that's just exactly the amount of empathy and compassion I'm talking about.

I didn't vote for him you smooth brained piece of Scheiße, but keep telling yourself that and living in denial, I'm sure that's much better than growing a conscience.

It's ok kleiner dummkopf, I get it. I'd be embarrassed to admit it myself If I were you, it's not like you make them look good.

I would point out that it's clearly not just Americans who grow garbage humans, but for that to be effective you would have to posses even the tiniest shred of empathy or compassion for you fellow man, but sure. Sit back and eat your popcorn and laugh as families are ripped apart, as protestors are beaten, as they call the military in to brutalize the very liberals you have been breaking your neck trying to excuse. Eat your Caviar and drive your Beemer and just chuckle at how funny it is that Palestinian children are starving to death, how their parents were murdered in cold blood. Blame all the people who actually tried to stop it- unlike heroic keyboard warriors like you who heroically typed your liberal capitalist boot licking propaganda, trying to sew division between two groups that actually united to try and stop a fascist dictator, despite their differences. You are no better than a MAGAt. Go back to sniffing your own farts and feeling superior.

I bet you blame the East Germans for Stalin taking over. The Native Americans for the European Colonists, the Black folks for slavery. Go ahead tell me how it was the Jews fault for Hitler, because after all, they were a part of the Wiemar Republic and didn't vote hard enough against him.

No, citizens are the opposition to the GOP

What country are you from? In the United States we have a form of Government known as a 'Representative Republic'. A type of Democracy where the people elect representatives to enact our will in Government. The people who the citizens elected to oppose the GOP are the Democrats. It is very much their responsibility.

That doesn't mean that citizens shouldn't make our voices heard as well, I encourage them to do so, especially in light of all the do-nothing Dems not doing jack shit to stop them.

The citizens’ work of putting pressure on the government would have been so much easier right now had “both sides” mentality not elected Donald.

This narrative needs to die. Yes, a significant portion of Americans believe that both sides are bad, and with good reason, but the ones that believe that are not so stupid as to think that both sides are equally bad, and didn't vote for Trump. It was the millions of Americans who are cool with a fascist dictatorship that voted for Trump, and they don't believe their side is bad. The rest of us held our noses and voted for Harris despite her being far from Ideal. All of the people who didn't vote were never going to vote in the first place. People are fully capable of believing both sides are bad, but one side is objectively better at the same time. It's called harm reduction.

Had Harris won, criticism of democrats would have been far more effective.

In what way exactly? If they are fully willing to ignore the will of the people now, what makes you think they would not ignore the will of the people if they were in power? It makes no sense.

but what if the slaves are racially distinct and portrayed as weaklings and ugly?

Oh well that's clearly different, especially if they are outspoken about how much they love serving their masters. I mean, it's not like there is any way to magically manipulate how beings think in the Harry Potter universe.

would like Americans to elect smarter people. I’ll settle for less evil. Hell, at this point I’ll settle for competent.

As would the majority of Americans. You know what's not going to help with that? Ignorant ass jerk offs trying to put the meme into peoples heads that the fact that the DNC propped up a authoritarian pro-slavery pig was fine and good actually. That the fucking committee that literally runs the elections and admitted in Federal Court that they choose who the Dem candidate is going to be has no bearing on who wins the primaries. That billionaires and corporations have zero interest in politics and are good guys actually who don't put massive resources into controlling the narrative. That the Russians who we know for a fact are interfering with U.S. politics are just innocent bystanders, despite Trump publicly calling on Russia to interfere with the elections. That it's actually Leftists who voted for Trump and the liberal corporate bootlickers are the good guys trying to fight the good fight and actually want change, and whatever other smooth brained takes you pulled out of your 'educated' ass.

Maybe take a look at why the AfD is gaining more and more support each election and try to figure out a way to put a stop to that bullshit before you find yourself in the exact same situation we are in or worse, and leave U.S. politics to people with the capacity for rational thought, that will help a lot more than your misinformation campaign on Lemmy.

Have the day you voted for!

Eat shit Adolf
