Israel and Chemical/Biological Weapons: History, Deterrence, and Arms Control Some disturbing information about previous use of bio weapons in Gaza.

The above is from the Avner Cohen Collection which includes some the best available information about Israels nuclear weapons program as well as chemical & biological weapons programs.

Avner Cohen also wrote two books about the history of Israel nuclear weapons development The Worst-Kept Secret and Israel and the bomb

I have not been able to find a free copy of 'The Worst-Kept Secret' but google books has an excerpt & the 'Israel and the bomb' link is an Internet Archive copy.

rewatching vids of oct 7 reminded me of something I was thinking when it happened. Hamas was putting video out within a few hours of Al-Aqsa Flood start and I suspect they had crews on motorcycles collecting go-pro sd cards and porting them back into Gaza where Hamas propaganda warriors would edit and upload almost in real time. Like it wasn't just an add-on but a significant part of the operation. They were putting out video, info graphics and other related stuff in order to dominate the narrative as soon as possible. This might be the first time the term 'keyboard warrior' was a real thing and they were likely targeted by IOF in the subsequent bombing campaign. o7 to all the people behind the line.

Jokes aside is this what they use for medical stuff? Don't remember where I heard it but iirc radioactive cobalt is used for radiation oncology or imaging. Something about it having a short half life by design and they have to be replaced often.

Mercouris thinks Z's incompetence is a net positive for the Russian side but the situation is dynamic so that could change as the war winds down.
