Made this about a year ago for whatever reason and felt like this is the right place to share it.

I use KDE Neon on my laptop and I'd prefer to have KDE as a DE on this one too (if possible) but I don't mind a non Ubuntu base. Basically I'd just like to be able to play games on it without much hassle but I know how to paste commands into the terminal if the need arises.

This may sound like an "and then everybody clapped" thing but consider that ultimately if I was to lie I'd come up with something more dramatic 😄

So I was walking through the park and came by a bench with the words "Kein Platz für Gewalt an Frauen" (= No room for violence against women) written on it. I sat down next to the writing and started reading a book when this girl, maybe 9 or 10, came by and gave the bench a long, focused stare before gleefully letting her mother and grandmother know about the writing. You could tell it genuinely had an impact on her, like she felt seen. And her family looked happy for her too and affirmed that, yes, this is a great message.

Especially in a place like a public park where women often feel particularly unsafe it was nice to see that a little act of vandalism managed to remind a young girl that this is hers to enjoy too, and without fear.

I made weed infused olive oil from vaporized scraps and it turned out so thick that I put some of it in capsules and laid them out on my rolling tray for a laugh. They hit like a truck btw.

I just remembered that back when YouTube generally used to show you actually related videos in the sidebar sooned or later you'd reach this so-called weird part which was basically an assortment of increasingly unhinged recommendations. It's funny to me that back then that was basically the only time when the algorithm failed to be invisible. But I was also quite young when the weird part of YouTube was a thing so I'd be interested to know if any of you remember specific clips you've seen there and any other details I might not have mentioned. The only videos that seem to have left a lasting impression on me were a 9/11 conspiracy documentary and a slideshow about a horrific, likely fake skin disease.

Actually it's because that pot of grass belongs to my squab devouring cat
