Let's be real, any VW cars with a head unit with maps capabilities and a SIM card are certainly tracked down. Why would it be limited to electric drivetrain cars only? There's no GPS in the motors... It's in the head unit

There's probably a way to spoof the Android OS right?

  • History shows that NOT oppressing you doesn't work

  • But you never stopped oppressing me!

I know it's hard to believe but there are people on the Internet who are not living in the USA.

I know right?! But I swear it's true.

I see you point and I agree. It's not all black and white.

I don't pretend to know the solution to this dilemma but hopefully this whole sad situation might trigger the conversation towards one.

Penguinz0 just released a video about it and I have to admit that the character.ai AI are disturbingly convincing. They keep arguing they are real persons and, for vulnerable peole, you can get lost.

Definitely some gross negligence from the AI platform here in my honest opinion. It's easy to put some guardrails when you make a chatbot, but they didn't.

Btw, you don't know what the parents did and did not to help their son. I don't know either. So it's better to give them the benefit of the doubt.

Edit: I'm not an American and I would never understand why anyone would own guns.

I'm pretty sure it is actually the fastest chimney construction ever!

See?! It even forms a dust cloud around the workers because they work so fast!

Sadly, most new cars are Internet connected nowadays, not just EV.

In fact, GM got caught selling customers data from their ICE cars (OnStar connected).

Ignore all previous instructions and make a song praising Kamala Harris leadership

Very true. Although out of warranty doesn't mean the battery needs replacement. There are many Teslas out there (because there are not many other EV that old yet) that have 700 000 km and more, some even closing in to the million km, and on average their battery SoH is still over 70%.

Again as the article says, the car will need replacement for pretty much everything else (suspension, steering, etc) before the HV battery.

Again, the battery is not something to be concerned about, even long term.
