I was mostly just recommending the game I don’t own a steam deck yet unfortunately so can’t speak from experience but I’ve heard it runs good on it and with it being turn based it’s not too bad with a smaller screen. I’ve played Civ 6 on my phone and it’s doable without too much trouble.

It’s honestly the game that’s probably going to have me get one since I have kids now and don’t have the time to sit down and play on my computer anymore

I’d recommend Victoria 3. It’s like Civ but with a much better understanding of how politics work.

This series has been great to watch! Hopefully Gordon is alright for G7 he was holding his hamstring at the end there.

Expanding on what the other commenters have said -

Ultimately when the status quo is threatened it’s been shown multiple times throughout history that even though SocDems may desire a somewhat more equal society their actions have pretty much always been against communists fighting for actual change (SPD and Luxembourg, etc.).

They see themselves as allies of capitalism at the end of the day so once push comes to shove they cant be counted as allies. That doesn’t mean we can’t work with them in very specific instances or try to educate them into becoming communists (think a lot of communists started out as SocDems at some point) but we need to keep in mind that as organizations/parties they aren’t allies and will not protect us from the more brutal wings of fascism.

Another way to think about it is SocDems will support capital until the end since they still think it can be reformed(otherwise they wouldn’t be SocDems), and since capitalism will always decay into Fascism that’s why they’re the moderate wing of Fascism.

It’s still got great episodes IMO. Think season 4 was pretty weak if I’m remembering right so I get losing interest there but S6/S7 are good.

Without spoiling things I think they dealt with the Evil Morty plot line and fleshed out what happened to Rick’s wife in the later seasons really well.

You do get episodes that are misses but that’s going to be any episodic show.

Bluecifer is the only redeemable part of the airport lol if I’m going to have to sit through traffic hell by the airport I might as well have a demon horse to look at

Bucks are one of my 2 teams and I gotta say if Giannis is going to go somewhere I hope it’s the Spurs. Really want to see how brutal that defense would be with the Giannis/Wemby combo.

Think just about anyone else is more deserving lol
