Not sure when the last time you drove by it was, but they fixed it a little while back.

On average, a city block is 1/20 of a mile. But that can vary greatly depending on direction (N/S vs E/W) and location in the city.

I buried Little Ann by the side of Old Dan. I knew that was where she wanted to be. I also buried a part of my life along with my dog.

It's supposed to be -

semi-monthly means twice a month
(semi-circle = half a circle = half a month)

and

bi-monthly is every other month
(bicentennial = 2 centuries = 2 months)

But the terms have been so commonly conflated that dictionaries and style guides reference both definitions (especially for "bi-")

Are you talking about Joel Michael Singer? The Joel Michael Singer who headbutts people and then gets his ass locked and then begs his daddy to use his money and influence to remove the evidence from the internet? That Joel Michael Singer? Because that guy is Joel Michael Singer, and that’s the only Joel Michael Singer I have ever heard of.

I wish "use within [x] days of opening" was more consistent on packaging. Knowing that something can sit unopened in my fridge for months is great, but also having an easy reminder that it's only good for 2 weeks after I open it would be even better.
