That's so insensitive by your family, no one should be forced to be the center of attention if they don't want to. doggirl-sweat

Something like formal trousers and a button up can look really cute and feminine with the right cut, but imo feels less intimidating to wear than skirts and blouses when you're with family who aren't that used to you being trans yet, so maybe something like that could be an option?

I'd love to at least try prog for a while, but idk how, it's more difficult to do get DIY than E is where I live, and getting it through a doctor is literally impossible doggirl-cry It's a lot harder to get steady supply of pills through customs than tiny vials that last a year each

After a year, doing my estrogen injections are just a normal, mildly annoying part of life, and not super exciting like they used to be. I know it was bound to happen at some point, but still a bit sad. transshork-sad On the other hand, there's something nice about feeling it's a natural part of life too, like it's just who I am and that's just normal, not weird or exciting.

Why are cigarettes deathly unhealthy when they're such a vibe?

Managed to fix my sleep schedule, then I woke up in the middle of the night from a nightmare and couldn't sleep and now it's fucked again doggirl-gloom

Even trying to see things from a lib perspective the data harvesting argument makes no sense to me. If you're worried about your data ending up in the hands of someone who could use it against you, a social media app from a somewhat hostile foreign country is way safer than local social media that sells all it's data to the state that actually has power over you.

spoilerdoggirl-sweat Does the house have zero soundproofing or something so she can hear everything? Because then I guess I understand why someone might get really uncomfortable, but otherwise that's extremely weird and not appropriate behaviour.

The whole account is just rage bait meant to trick people into engaging by making them feel bad. Please don't let it affect you too much.

Not American, but from a western imperialist nation with a lot of similar incentives so I still relate to this a lot and spent a fair amount of time thinking about it.

Whenever I read public discourse I can't help but think my country is filled with insufferable, ignorant, smug selfish pricks who couldn't care less about other people's suffering. However, maybe this is a hot take, but does it really matter? Realistically you're never gonna make a difference anywhere else in the world. The people around you are what you have to work with, it's where you have to find like-minded people and organize and try to change minds and hopefully find friends and connections. You can go around and wish suffering on the people around you instead, but that's not going to achieve anything other than make people creeped out and not want to be around you.

It's also worth keeping in mind that violent, reactionary brainrot exists everywhere, and has plenty of political power most places. Western chauvinism is just the most uniquely destructive kind. You're probaly not going to be happy with the general population no matter where you go.

I tried playing marvel rivals with some friends and its kinda fun, but also reminded me why I stopped playing those types of games: so many people who can't take a loss without getting insanely mad doggirl-sweat The absurdity of it is kinda funny when it happens, but it creates such a negative environment where i don't want to spend that much time tbh
