my understanding was that you could only use the xInput configuration with the dongle, and the wii-configuration with bluetooth

I didn't like the fact that for the "pc-setting" in the 8bitdo you have to use the dongle, and can't use bluetooth.
also the kingkong2 pro has exchangeable abxy buttons, so you can change them to the correct layout for the thing you're currently playing on (which may be extremely useful with the little brother, depending on his age)

I don't think "but we've done worse things" is a good argument to allow bad things.

And I think it's also not considered safe enough to retrofit gravel traps into places where there are safer solutions (like tarmac run-off)
There are dangers of cars digging in and flipping if I recall.

Has any info been leaked about the profit margin Steam Decks are for Valve?

Well, seems like it's very unlikely that they lose money the more Decks they sell, I'd expect the 64gb model to go out at pretty much their cost per device.

The Markup between the 512 model and the 64gb model is much higher than any OEM cost I would expect, so there's probably a little margin in there.

Well, is it really that influental if the second they'd try to use their power, they'd lose the platform?
I see no reason why telegram couldn't be replaced in this story.

I mean, you still need object detection and recognition with lidar, don't want to stamp on the brakes for a leaf.
And using only the primary sense of humans does kinda make sense.

still think it's tough call. Would be great if you don't need it. And don't know how expensive it would have been, especially at the start for all the people needing the hardware but not actually getting the use out of it.

otoh the only really successfull company in the space - waymo - uses it, that seems like a really strong sign

Hijacking this ('cause I'm a Pirate!), is anyone working on making Diablo IV offline a thing?
