Monster sanctuary is hella underrated, great pick It has such a unique combat system compared to other monster collecting games I've played. The skill trees are super fun.

Betrayal is a little more stressful, and plays more like an adventure game than a mystery. It has a fun dice system inspired by table top games, and I've never played anything quite like it, so I'd recommend it if your looking for a fresh experience (which is the same reason I liked Strange Horticulture).

Amazing game

I recently bought strange horticulture on sale, had a lot of fun with it.

Maybe it will go on sale, but Betrayal at Club Low is also very cool, and already cheap.

I think the mistake I made starying out was using too low of a sensitivity, and still using the joystick a lot. I switched to flick stick to force myself to use the gyro more, and eventually you just get used to it pretty naturally.

Id recommend starting with a single player game so it's less frustrating. I started with Valheim, but now I also play Halo Infinite etc. with gyro and flick stick

I give dota 2 a pass on any shitty monetization for cosmetics since they give all new heroes for free. I've played too many f2p games that don't do this, and new characters tend to be OP for some reason...

I really like slice and dice, one time purchase and no IAP. I think if you buy on itch.io you get PC and mobile versions

It's not about reddit changing their minds, it's about getting communities to move to alternatives
