Seriously. What I have seen in literally every one of these body cam recordings is the second the supervisor or backup arrives on scene, they immediately lie through their teeth about what happened.

If that cop had done exactly what he told the next cop he would do, this would have been a non-issue. He could have given him a ticket for each thing and made him park and walk to the DMV, and Ice-T would have parked, got his stuff in order, and paid the ticket. He only got upset once the cop said he was going to two the car, which I understand. The likelihood of his car getting damaged (not to mention the additional hassle of getting it out of impound) would have been very frustrating.

There is a whole section to each DQ for Regional Menu. Some places will have Steak Fries, or... I can't remember what else. In the North West (US) we had Ultimates and Deluxe burgers, which were the smaller patties (want to say 1/6lb), american cheese, and thousand island dressing (Ultimates were doubles and had bacon as well).

When I was at DQ School in Minneapolis, i got to meet store managers and owners from all over, and it was really interesting to learn all the regional fare (and apparently South American DQs, at least then, were purely Treat Centers, which is what I imagine OP was assuming they'd all be).

That is entirely different store to store. The one I managed and our sister store (owned by the same family) used a conveyer belt style flame broiler (automatic broiler). Far more consistent and less labor intensive.

They're certainly not ice cream/soft serve stores, but here we are.

Funny enough, the milk they use (at least the supplier to the store I managed) is nonfat milk. So the first listed ingedient is nonfat milk, and the second is milk fat, lol.

I couldn't get into XV myself.

But XIV... if you can get through the first 50 levels, it is truly incredibly. I get that is a huge ask. And skipping it is a bad idea, because it really builds the setting and story. Possibly watching a youtube video of, like, all the cut scenes in order maybe.

But seriously, the end of Shadowbringers (the third expansion) is my favorite end to a video game I've played, the music is awesome (particularly in Shadowbringers and Endwalker, though I got to the end fight for Heavensward and had to just stop and listen to the music before I queued for the final battle as well).

And more importantly, there is just a ton to do in the game. You don't run out of things. You might get bored of leveling all 33 jobs on a single toon, so you can take breaks to gamble at a giant mini-game casino (complete with chocobo racing, card tournaments, jump puzzles, a game where you ride in an airplane-on-a-track ride and shoot targets, and having your minions fight on a small battlefield, for example), make outfits (glam is the real end-game), fight and level in separate instanced battle areas, PVP (only if you want), set up your own private island and farm, and I can't even think of what else. There is no FOMO because there's always more available to do, you just pick what you feel like doing at the time.

Sorry, I just have a ton of fun with this game, and having come from WoW back at the end of Shadowlands, it feels like it succeeds at everything WoW failed at (you don't want to do Mythic Dungeons? Well I guess fuck off until the next patch).

So yeah, I'd recommend XIV, I guess. If you can get through the first 50 levels (which I maintain are still better than WoW).

Are those specific instances that are federated in (that can be separately blocked, like people do with .ml)? Or is it just another access point for any given instance?

It was more of a more immediate example. You can not give a fuck about people's gender, orientation, or whatever, but ignoring the government and people doing the equivalent of beating them in the streets (e.g. denying them access to medical services, sending them to ~~torture~~ conversion camps, cops beating and/or murdering them) is like walking by while they are getting beat up on the street because you don't give a fuck and it's not your fight.

Yeah, I'm pretty torn. In my small community (on an island), housing and rent are insanely expensive, and also pretty scarce. There are people who have full time jobs living in tents in the woods or in their cars (in Alaska) not because they can't afford a place to stay, but because there are no places to rent.

It's also a major tourist spot, and the population more than doubles regularly on days during the summer, and for those that fly in, the hotels book up quick. So there's a huge AirBnB market. Which means houses are getting bought up and then set up as AirBnBs instead of renting to residents, so housing becomes even more scarce. So I hate AirBnB.

But.... I just bought a 4 bedroom house, where one of the beds is in a built in 1-bedroom apartment, with its own kitchen and everything. We wanted a 4bedroom house so we could have a guest room for people visiting, as well as just have extra space for us. Well, once I retire, one of our plans is to rent that out as an AirBnB during the times we don't have guests staying. It doesn't deplete housing in the area (we wouldn't be renting it out anyway), and it helps pay our ridiculous mortgage.

So I hate it... but if it's used properly/ethically, I feel like it could be pretty good.

Hey, man, I agree on about 90% of that. I want to not give a shit about people's genders, sexuality, race, whatever. And for the most part, I don't.

But if I saw someone I didn't know getting the shit kicked out of them on the street, I don't think I can say "I don't give a fuck." And in some form or another, the equivalent is happening to people of particular genders, sexuality, race, whatever. So I may not give a fuck about any individuals gender, sex, race, whatever, but I do care that those people are being shit on.

So if you're the type who walks by while somebody gets beat up, you may be able to tell youself you're better than the people offering up a beating by not giving a fuck, but not the person who comes by afterward to try to stop it.
