Partly in jest, but while some could argue the slurs have been somewhat reclaimed, some people are understandably bothered by them being used casually and might have traumas about them being used against them. Soo I avoid using it without knowing how my current company feels about it.

Tomatoes are the natural companion to eggs. Bit o stir fried tomato, pinch of sugar, with eggs beaten with white pepper and sesame oil, chopped scallion? Oh! That's a nice meal.

Or shakshuka. Poach the eggs in a tomato pepper sauce with chili, some ras el hanout, maybe some mint and feta, top it all with za'atar? Hello!
