Just a fellow pioneer!

I don't have the exact coordinates at present, but it is somewhat near the northern forest start location, situated on a cliff to the south of the island region far in the north where there are some good oil nodes.

I found it on a map and circled those specific nodes, if this helps:

Congrats on 1 year!

As someone who never has much time to play games these days, honestly just seeing your posts has helped keep the passion alive. I love seeing all of these games I enjoy still being appreciated today. Thank you!

There are a few standout episodes that I think had notably excellent performances, though. Episodes 8 and 9 in particular from season 2 were haunting.

Is it maybe just the genocide angle mirroring Israel/Palestine too closely making critics not want to touch the series?

Maybe it's just a fun hobby, like why people ride horses when motor vehicles exist. Maybe he just wants to race on a level playing field.

There are also lots of Mulan-type stories about afab people who pretend to be men for a period of time in order to do something they wouldn’t have been able to do as a woman, then go back to living as women.

A bit like the older practice of women writers using abbreviated names or pseudonyms when publishing books because books written by men sold better.

It's crazy to me how unnecessarily gendered so many different industries still are, too. Professional cooking is still dominated by men but cooking at home is womanly. It makes no sense and it's maddening.

Probably less energy than starting a community yourself and supporting it long-term, to be honest.

Like shoot them?

The Trump admin has the courts stacked to deny and delay as much as possible, and then MAGA just ignores rulings they don't like. There's no legal process to help these people.

But in the context of Lemmy/Piefed/other Fediverse platforms, you'd expect admins to intervene in cases of community moderators gone rogue.

If that doesn't occur, then defederate. But if an instance has a code of conduct that moderators are violating, that shouldn't be the user's problem.

Definitely not a new thing, at least. The practice is called selective enforcement.

I'm sure it's actually a black bean burger...right?

A while ago, Sync contained a bug wherein swiping a post closed would display only a black background until the post closed fully, after which the feed would display as normal.

The behavior stopped for me when upgrading to Android 14/One UI 6.1, but is now recurring for me again on Android 15/One UI 7.0.

I didn't post before I was forced to leave the Blahaj 196 so I hope this is enough to make me not a dirty rule breaker.

I was able to comment in these threads from my PC via the Alexandrite frontend, but attempting to view those comments via Sync displays "Could not load post" with an option to Retry, which does not succeed.

Post 1 appears visible when opening the community, but opening the post displays the same error. Post 2 (the sh.itjust.works link which is posted on a lemmy.world community) the post does not appear in the community at all in Sync.

Confirmed that these communities/users are not blocked on my account, and no filters set within the app should apply to these posts either.

Lot of helpful advice in a beautifully formatted checklist. Don't forget to make a copy if you want to use this for yourself!

Aorzia has gotten a bit stale lately, hasn't it?

When Samsung last updated One UI several months ago, myself and many other Samsung users (and Pixel users on Android 14 as well, judging by the replies) encountered a bug where swiping posts closed showed only a black background until fully closed, after which the content one would expect to see would appear.

Last night, One UI updated to 6.1 on my device, and when I used Sync this morning, I noticed that the black background bug is no longer happening.

!Unfortunately I now need to re-learn my navigation gestures because Samsung apparently thinks it's fine to force people to completely re-learn how they navigate their phone overnight...!<
