who must jo-go?
Smeagolicious
Loved this game as a kid, was terrible at it of course. Got instantly sold on it when I saw the huge walkers with hardpoint customization. Funny enough, the system requirements for this game are what got me to learn what PC components were - I had no idea what it really did but 512mb of RAM sure seemed like a lot at the time
It sucks so bad lmao. I just wanna make a fem character who can wear cool robot armor, but noooo nearly everything has to be a chainmail bikini
I do think the zombie rot dragon moves pretty fluidly, but how someone could read that as "graceful & feminine" is weird lol, even setting aside the instant "graceful=feminine" association for a sec.
I...guess Blackveil Vaal Hazak could be seen as having a...idk mourning or bridal veil...thing going on? Maybe???
The farty barfy corpse dragon is one of my favorite elder dragon designs though, very cool fight. Ugh, now I wanna raise my grievances with the forced gendered armor designs in Monster Hunter...
Just disappointed G-Witch ended up being mostly queerbaiting. That, and a big ol celebration of neoliberalism. It could've been so much better!
No, I'm A Pimp Named Slickback
Very similar to the Culture series by Iain Banks: had the same reaction to almost the same description of a character having a layer of fur a good way into the book.
To be fair, I didn't know that in the Culture most "humanoid" beings are just referred to as pan-human with a few aliens as exceptions like the 11ft tall, 3 legged, armored Idirans.
I fucking hate the MS's being kitted out in CoD tacticool gear. Its so fucking ugly. I'm not even gonna open the can of worms that are the hilariously conflicting messages of these two properties
Really liked Sherry's playable section in RE 2 Remake. The entire game is great but the powerlessness & childhood fear there is especially scary & compelling, plus it's a fun contrast to the anxiety of the inexorable Mr. X.
Tbh the playable Ashley segment in 4 remake is a standout for similar reasons.
The bit with Whitney & the kids dancing was cute as hell
