I'd say for posts like these, it's better to link straight to the official Dragon Ball website since it's the source of the information in the article. It's not a rule, though, so no biggie 🤷
The people I mentioned were likely some of the ones who worked on those scenes you thought were cool. Yuya Takahashi in particular was loved among fans for his style that heavily mirrored Yamamuro's Buu saga style. Shintani was the one who came up with the designs for the recent Broly movie. If anything, this show will at least look competent, as long as the animators aren't rushed like during Super's production.
Can't say I know what to expect from the story and writing, though.

I was a bit skeptical myself, but the chief animation supervisors for this series include Chikashi Kubota, Naohiro Shintani, Yuya Takahashi, Takeo lde, and Miyako Tsuji. A powerhouse of some of the best people that worked on Super. It’s impossible not to be excited when they’re involved so heavily in this project.
