Iโ€™m really tired of the enshitification of clothes. You used to be able to wear, wash, even tumble dry a tshirt for years before it wore out. Now they go out of shape after a single wash. I would happily pay for good quality if it existed, but the extra $ for expensive brands is paying only for the logo, not quality. Iโ€™ve had a comedic realisation this is what it will be for the rest of my life, I donโ€™t see clothes quality going back to how it was. RIP my wardrobe forever. Welcome to the future - no world peace, flying cars or spaceships. Just shitty tshirts.

Got some early jonquills flowering. And wattle is full of buds. Spring in not far away.

It really breaks my heart when I see this. I once saw a woman aggressively screech โ€˜shut up you cntsโ€™ to her two toddlers crying in a supermarket. Seriously what chance do these kids have? When youth crime is committed, people often comment โ€˜where are the parentsโ€™. Well the parents are deadshits who donโ€™t care and were probably doing the same thing when they were kids. We canโ€™t expect these kids will get help from their families, but no other options for โ€˜parentingโ€™ are available other than foster care. All you can do is hope that against the odds, as adults they are able to overcome the shitty birth lottery they got, and start a normal life. The ones who succeed are truly amazing.

Thereโ€™s something magnificently primal about javelin throw.

If you enjoy it, keep doing it. More people read than comment, so there may be people who find it useful even if they donโ€™t interact.

Chocolate mousse is a worthy birthday cake. You could even decorate with sprinkles on top.

Thereโ€™s lots of good reasons people unfollow, eg grew appart, or they are going through some life events, cutting back on social media, etc. When you unfollow someone, do you expect them to feel the same? Might help with the perspective. Meaning, do you think itโ€™s ok for you to unfollow someone but donโ€™t like it if others do the exact same?

So lucky to find a doctor like that. Follow her if she ever changes practices. Finding a good GP is a needle in a haystack.

Yes. Clogged with tailgating trucks, aggressive drivers, people who donโ€™t know indicators exist, debris on the road, short on ramps, etc. The roads north and west of Melbourne are the Mad Max zones. Source: commuted on these roads for many years, glad I donโ€™t have to do it any more.

I think there more to come. People will use AI to generate art, music, writing, design and claim it as their own original invention. I guess thatโ€™s misrepresentation rather than fake, but thereโ€™s gonna be a flood of it.

The rioting was set off because they believe the stabber of the kids in the dance class was an immigrant Muslim. Nope, born in Britain Christian. Was fake news spread by Andrew Tate and other questionable sources. Itโ€™s the idiot olympics, and utterly terrifying how easily people can be set off.
